Terrence Hugh "Terry" Hanratty (born January 19, 1948) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League during the 1960s and 1970s. He earned two Super Bowl rings as the backup quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Terry 's son Conor also plays football for Notre Dame as an offensive guard.

Made his collegiate debut on national television against Bob Griese and Purdue on September 24, 1966. Threw three touchdown passes to Jim Seymour in a 26-14 Notre Dame victory.

Teamed up with Jim Seymour to form a record-setting passing combination at Notre Dame. The two became known as the Baby Bombers as well as, "Mr. Fling to Mr. Cling."
